I CAN'T THINK OF A QUIRKY TITLE

Wow, looks like the others have all been busy blogging. Thanks to those who have kept up with our updates and in your prayers! =)

Some highlights for me :

1) Having bible study with Japanese students from all the different campuses and then dinner afterwards tonight. Seems that the difficulties amongst Japanese and Australian church may not be so different - sin is universal hey.
2) Singing 'You raise me up' by Josh Groban in the church choir
3) Getting apples from the pastor's wife, rachel buying bananas and Maiko giving us mandarins ( my fruit craving has been satisfied).
4) Japanese food and green tea!
5) Random FOCUS team moments and laughter!
6) Osaka Castle Park
7) Favourite Japanese phrase : 'so so so so so so' - means yes yes yes yes yes
8) 100 yen stores!
9) Feeling foreign, not understanding what was going on and totally lost in conversations going on right in front of me ( this is what people feel like when we speak in Manglish).
10) Yet feeling so at home ( so many small little parts of Japan remind me of home.

Prayer points :
1) Health - flu bugs are flying around.
2) Stamina
3) Patience and service for one another.
4) Dene and Rachel looking after Simeon and Elliot.
5) That we continue to be challenged and stretched throughout this journey.
