Ruby's in Scone

So, Ruby (aka Ruth) is in Scone and they haven't got electricity and running water out that way yet, so she's asked me to make a post on her behalf. Yes, we communicated by smoke signals and telepathy. Only the telepathy will work in Japan because of the pollution issues...

Ruth says:
Pass on my gratitude to supporters, my general excitement, and praise to God.

It looks like our team will, despite the exchange rate troubles, be able to do most things we planned.

Bus and train tickets have been pre-purchased cheaply for us by a friend in Japan (thanks Mikage!) and we pay for half of our accommodation by credit card tomorrow.

- Pray for us that we'll be able to focus on SPRTE even though Japan looms large in our minds.
- Pray for the ex-students we hope to make contact with over there: Ruri, Keiichi, Miyoko, James
- Give thanks for the generosity of our supporters
