Japan!!

i miss japan too.. the baths yes!..the orderliness Yes!...the good dressing sense YEs! Yes! Yes! the onigiri and cool range of combini food..Yakoyen coin operated food restaurant..my team i went with..now i dun hate you guys anymore..just kidding! i always love you guys...whenever i see caucasian couples in Singapore pushing prams on trains i think of the difficulty Dene and Rachel experienced in Japan and feel sympathy for them..and i miss Elliot and Simeon..when i went back to my home church and heard some newly born children crying during service i silently told myself thats what Japan prepared me for..This too shall pass.. :)

most of all, i miss all the contacts we made in Japan..the students, Maiko, Shuichi and Elaine, Mikage and family, our homestays..i must tell a secret..i like mission after SPRTE/NTE..its fun and interesting doing mission with friends and brothers and sisters on similar spiritual levels of maturity, who are willing to serve..believe me, its very different in actual ministry where the going can really be tough and ministers are in it for the long haul of 20-50 years, sometimes without appreciation or gratititude, or even results, toiling away quietly in obedience to God..

to our partners in ministry in Japan, thanks for this trip..for hosting us and having us..for showing great patience and kindness to us and great generosity and love..i keep you in my prayers now and would like to do so for the future, for as long as God is faithful..
